Philanthropy Committee
The Philanthropy Committee supports the Foundation in raising funds for approved initiatives that will advance the mission of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre as Australia’s leading cancer centre. Members of the committee work with Foundation leadership to identify potential donors and develop appropriate strategies to ask potential donors to make significant gifts, or multi-year pledges for the benefit of Peter Mac. They also coordinate all efforts with the Peter Mac Foundation Leadership Team, ensure that all approaches made on behalf of the Foundation and any gifts are aligned with agreed strategies and priorities, and participate in special occasions that recognise donors and strengthen ongoing relationships.

Membership
The Philanthropy Committee will be chaired by a member of the Foundation Board and comprise of no fewer than two directors as determined and approved by the Foundation Board.
