Melissa is a seasoned communications professional with over 12 years’ experience in corporate, non-profit, and government sectors. She has extensive experience developing compelling communications strategies to increase brand awareness, improve public relations, and boost fundraising.

Prior to coming to Peter Mac, Melissa served as Head of Communications at King’s College Hospital Charity, an NHS charity in London. Like Peter Mac Cancer Foundation, King’s is the fundraising arm of a hospital internationally recognised for its ground-breaking research and medical advancements. Through philanthropic support, the charity was able to fund projects that push boundaries, transform clinical services, pioneer research, and ensure more positive outcomes for patients and families. Melissa played a key role in delivering a range of milestone fundraising initiatives, events and appeals, and communicating the impact of donor support.
