Grants Committee
The Grants Committee is responsible for ensuring that philanthropic funds allocated to the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation are awarded to initiatives that improve health outcomes for people affected by cancer. The committee reviews grant-making policies and protocols, identifies and prioritises grant opportunities, recommends the award of grants to the Board, and establishes procedures for monitoring grant progress. It ensures that all policies are aligned with the mission of the Foundation, the intentions of donors, and the strategic direction of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

Membership
The Grants Committee consist of no fewer than two Directors of the Company plus Peter Mac’s Chief Executive. The Grants Committee will be chaired by an independent member of the Board.
