On October 13th, over 640 dedicated supporters of Peter Mac took on the challenge of running or walking at the Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival 2024. Together, they raised an impressive $110,199 for Peter Mac!
Anna, who received treatment for Ewing sarcoma at Peter Mac in 2023, was inspired by her partner Sian and their friends and family, who ran in support of her during last year’s marathon. Now, nine months cancer-free after her successful treatment, Anna ran alongside hundreds of Team Peter Mac runners.
“I’ve learned to cherish my life and the ability to move, running today is not just a personal victory; it’s a tribute to everyone who has fought this battle.”
