How you'll make a difference

Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation’s mission is to enhance the ability of Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre to achieve better health outcomes for people with cancer. The Foundation provides funds to help make new life-saving discoveries possible so that every person with cancer has the best chance of a cure.

Our Challenge Adventures play a key role in fundraising essential funds for cancer research at Peter Mac. To maximise the impact of the trip, each participant of the Southern Alps Challenge has a $3,000 fundraising target. The important funds raised as part of the challenge will...

- Give leading researchers the specialised resources they need to discover cancer cures.

- Provide seed funding to help internationally recognised researchers explore bold new research ideas that could change the way we think about cancer.

- Help ensure we have access to a sustainable source of income, that will support our work for generations to come.

"New Zealand has some of the worlds best natural scenery and there's no better way to experience this than on foot.

We hope you'll join us on this epic physical challenge, along with the rewarding challenge of fundraising."

Sonya Kennedy - Community Events and Fundraising Manager, Peter Mac Foundation
