Collingwood players visit Peter Mac

Collingwood players spend time at Peter Mac ahead of the Peter Mac Cup.
With the Peter Mac Cup fast approaching, players from the Collingwood Football Club generously paid a visit to the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
On 24 March, Collingwood players Ed Allen, Billy Frampton, Ned Long and Oleg Markov toured the centre and met with Peter Mac staff and patients.
For many Collingwood fans receiving treatment at the hospital, getting to chat and spend time with the players was a special moment.
The Peter Mac Cup is the longest running charity match in VFL/AFL history. Since 1993, rival clubs Collingwood and Carlton have united to take action against cancer by supporting the fundraising efforts of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation.
This year, the Peter Mac Cup clash will take place on Thursday April 3. This marks the 30th occasion the two clubs have come together to support research that saves the lives of people diagnosed with cancer.
We extend our sincere thanks to Collingwood for taking the time to come by and say hello. This visit brought much joy and delight to patients currently undergoing cancer treatment at Peter Mac.
